The cottage features a welcoming ambiance with a homely charm, making it a perfect base for exploring the stunning landscapes of the North of England.

Upon entering the cottage, guests are greeted by a cozy kitchen equipped with a breakfast area, an LPG Aga for cooking, and a wooden floor that adds to the cottage's rustic charm. The ground floor includes a utility room with modern amenities such as a microwave, fridge/freezer, and washer/dryer, alongside two comfortable bedrooms—one with a double bed and the other with a single bed. A well-appointed shower room completes the ground floor, ensuring convenience for guests.

Ascending the open-sided stairs leads to the inviting living and dining room, characterized by its high ceilings and open eaves. This bright space features comfortable sofas, a 40" Freesat TV, a DVD player, and a gas wood burner that creates a warm atmosphere for relaxation. The cottage is equipped with underfloor central heating in the utility and shower rooms, oil-filled radiators in the bedrooms, and complimentary fibre broadband, ensuring a comfortable stay throughout the year. A welcome pack is also provided to enhance guests' experience.

Outside, The Stables boasts a lovely lawned garden with furniture, perfect for enjoying the fresh air, while a bike store is available for cycling enthusiasts. The location offers excellent cycling routes right from the door, and nearby walking paths cater to all skill levels, including The Dales Way. Just a short drive away, the historic town of Kendal provides a variety of independent shops, cafés, and restaurants.
