Guests can enjoy nearby activities such as dining at the waterside pub, The Jolly Sailor in Burton, walking along the secret waterway at Lawrenny, or exploring the countryside filled with footpaths within the National Park. Additionally, visitors can take in the sights of Carew Castle and a working French tidal mill or unwind with afternoon tea while soaking up the local ambiance.

The accommodation at The Barn is designed to comfortably sleep three guests in two bedrooms, making it suitable for those with restricted mobility since some areas are located on the ground floor. The upstairs bedroom features a double bed and an en suite bathroom with a roll-top bath, while the downstairs bedroom contains a single bed with its own en suite shower. The living room is equipped with cozy seating, a TV, and an oil-fired wood burner effect heater, creating a warm and inviting space. The kitchen and dining area are fully equipped for meal preparation, and a utility room includes a washing machine for added convenience.
