The cottage's location makes it an excellent base for exploring the scenic Highlands and the renowned Speyside region, known for its natural beauty and whisky distilleries.

The ground floor of Failte features a cozy lounge adorned with an impressive exposed granite stone wall and an inglenook fireplace, which houses a wood-burning stove that adds warmth and character to the space. The lounge is equipped with satellite Freeview TV, a DVD player, and a radio/CD player for entertainment. The well-appointed kitchen and dining area includes an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, and washing machine, making it convenient for guests to prepare meals during their stay.

On the first floor, guests will find two attractively presented bedrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a comfortable king-sized bed, while the second bedroom features a 3-foot single divan along with small bunk beds, making it ideal for children. The modern family bathroom is equipped with a shower over the bath, WC, and wash basin. The cottage provides all bed linen and includes an electricity allowance, with additional usage available through a meter. For families traveling with young children, a cot and high chair can be provided upon request.

Outside, Failte offers a lawn area complete with a picnic table and chairs, perfect for enjoying a barbecue or a quiet drink while planning daily excursions. Additionally, parking is available for one car. For larger groups or families, Failte can be rented together with the adjoining cottage, Kangei, which accommodates four to five guests, allowing for an extended family or friends' gathering in the picturesque surroundings of Grantown-on-Spey.
