The cottage itself was reconstructed in 1989, preserving its original design with local stone and solid walls, complemented by a low exposed timber-beamed ceiling. Inside, the open-plan layout includes a cozy sitting room and kitchen area, equipped with modern amenities such as an oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, washing machine, and tumble dryer. The inviting sitting room features a large inglenook fireplace and wood burner, furnished with comfortable seating and a flat-screen television, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Accessed by a carpeted staircase, the bedroom is designed for comfort, featuring a spacious king-size bed, a flat-screen television, and a pine wardrobe, along with additional bedroom furniture. The adjoining fully tiled shower room includes a vanity unit and heated towel rail, ensuring a pleasant stay. The heating system comprises a night storage heater and wood burner, with logs supplied at no extra charge. Electricity is metered, requiring £1 coins for usage. For those interested, there is also an additional property on the farm, Orchard Mews, which can be booked through HomeAway, with a Friday change-over day.
