From April to September, Doodale Cottage offers a unique guided walking tour of the farm's fields, allowing visitors to meet the resident Highland Cattle. This tour can be tailored to fit holiday schedules, lasting anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours. The cottage's prime location provides easy access to the A64, making it an excellent base for exploring North Yorkshire's diverse attractions, including the historic city of York, the picturesque coastal towns of Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay, and the charming market towns of Malton, Pickering, and Helmsley, as well as the scenic North York Moors.
