Crab Apple Cottage is a charming pretty little converted barn; a perfect romantic retreat for a weekend getaway. With a sunny stone terrace with table and chairs, this is a real sun trap and is a peaceful spot to sit and enjoy the surrounding countryside, with sheep grazing in the neighbouring meadows. A haven for bird watchers, you're sure to catch a glimpse of the ducks and geese flying over to nearby Llangorse Lake, resident red kites or the curlews with their wonderful haunting call. Crab Apple Cottage is a great place to stay, quietly tucked away in a very little known very picturesque valley with the most glorious views from every gateway on the lane up to the cottage. With safe lock up shed for cycle storage, a great place to bring mountain bikes and to be able to explore the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains whether by foot or by car. A walk down the lane, about a mile leads to the local pub in Llanfihangel Talyllyn, The Black Cock. There is also good pony trekking and an Activity Centre which offers all types of outdoor pursuits including a Climbing Wall in nearby Llangorse Village. Visitors are also close to Llangorse Lake with The Crannog and all the water sports and fishing there.

A very attractive and welcoming open large living room with a comfortable good quality blue sofa and a chair, dining table, electric wood burning stove, TV, DVD and free view.
The kitchen area is well equipped with microwave, electric cooker and hob, washing machine and fridge with ice box.
Bedroom 1: A double bedroom with a nice new bed with a good mattress
The bathroom: Has a bath with shower over, hand basin and toilet
Double doors lead out from the sitting room onto a sunny terrace with garden table and chairs and surrounded by a flower bed with lavender and herbs.
