While it lacks an oven or hob, the room welcomes guests with fresh milk, tea, and coffee, and offers a stylish bathroom complete with modern fixtures, including automatic lighting and a heated towel rail. Guests can also enjoy a continental hamper breakfast, provided with five days' notice.

The Apple Rooms, named after the apple trees in the walled garden orchard, have transformed what was once a dormant calf byre into a unique collection of boutique en-suite accommodations. Guests at Arthur Turner can enjoy complimentary access to the gardens from April 1 to September 30, where they can explore the beautiful walled garden, peony walk, and topiary peacock garden, among other features. During this period, they also receive a discount at the on-site tearoom, Honesty at Houghton Lodge. However, the gardens and tearoom are closed from October 1 to March 31 for essential garden development.
