Set right on the promenade of the beautiful beach resort of Lyme Regis you will find Bell Cliff House, a quirky apartment which has been decorated in a funky beach house style by the owners who live next door. Such is the history and uniqueness of this building both inside and out, it was used to film the Mary Anning film starring Kate Winslet!

The property is accessed via a footpath and when you enter the building, the garden room, with its large windows overlooking the sea, greets you with open arms. This leads through to the roof terrace, an ideal place to while away the hours watching the world go by, yet is private enough that beach goers below won’t even know you are there. Entering into the apartment from the garden room, head into the living room complete with a sofa bed, where you can unwind using the provided games, books and TV with Apple TV included. The well-equipped quirky kitchen offers an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and fridge/freezer, and the folding drop leaf dining set will create a lovely space for you to spend time all together and enjoy your lunch and dinners. The kitchen also contains another direct entrance to the panoramic roof garden terrace which provides ample space to relax and enjoy a delicious meal cooked on the BBQ. A few steps up from the kitchen leads you into the main bedroom which is beautifully decorated in light colours, has sea views and a unique driftwood wall light installation.
During the peak season, dogs are not allowed on the main beach here but pets are welcome on Monmouth Beach which is on the right hand side of the property. Charmouth Beach is well known as a great site for fossils, and is also quite flat and less busy than the beach in Lyme Regis. Just a 15-minute drive away, the seaside town of Seaton has small shops as well as larger supermarkets and also offers a tramway ride which is great activity for families. Exeter is the closest city to Lyme Regis about a 45-minute drive away, but you can also take a train from Axminster just 5 miles away. It is famous for its cathedral, which has the longest uninterrupted vaulted ceiling in England, international student community, great shopping opportunities and the local airport is great for guests from further afield. Beach 15 yards. Shop 330 yards, pub and restaurant 15 yards.
