Tap o’ Noth, the second highest hillfort in Scotland, is based locally near the village of Rhynie. The beautiful gardens at Leith Hall Estate are located 7 miles away, an afternoon here is a lovely, calming way to spend your time.
Rowantree Court is approximately 25 miles from The Lecht ski centre, making it a convenient place to stay all year round. The ruins of Kildrummy Castle and Huntly Castle are a short drive away and provide a fantastic look into the history of the castle and this area. Glendronach Distillery is easily accessible around 25 miles away. The nearest town of Alford promises a fun-filled day out with the seasonal Transport Museum and dry ski slope.
