The Hideaway has fabulous interior décor, and an enclosed garden to the rear with the morning sun, a delight to enjoy your breakfast. The property is ideal for couples or a small family.
Located midway between Alnwick and Morpeth, the house is a great base for exploring this award winning county. Voted the best county to holiday in the 2018 British Tourism Awards, Felton is a great location for exploring in all directions. The Heritage Coast is nearby with stunning beaches. Alnwick Castle is still home to the Duke of Northumberland and Harry Potter fans will love a visit here. Up and down the coast there are plenty of historic castles and ruins, and long stretches of unspoilt sandy beaches. A trip to Hadrian’s Wall is a must, with Roman Forts along the way making a peaceful and tranquil day out. The pretty market town of Morpeth is nearby with an Edwardian indoor shopping centre and a good choice of pubs, cafés and shops.
The friendly small fishing town of Amble still has a working harbour, a popular Sunday market and some small shopping pods to browse after the market. Stop off at the lovely ice cream shop, or for some fish and chips on the harbour. Beach 8 miles. Shop 550 yards, pub 800 yards and restaurant 600 yards.
