Welcome pack. 2-acre lawned garden (shared with owner) with sitting-out area, garden furniture and barbecue. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a fenced pond 50 yards away. . This delightful annexe, adjoining the owner’s country home, stands peacefully within 2-acres of shared landscaped gardens and is the ideal retreat for couples or families. It has been tastefully furnished and offers plenty of natural light. All of the rooms have a view over the lovely grounds, and there is a pretty sitting-out area with a barbecue, so it is the ideal place to relax and have an aperitif or eat al fresco! The property is set along a quiet lane and approached by a long driveway. It is located about 2 miles from the popular town of Horsham with shops, leisure centre, theatre and amenities. You can also enjoy a train ride to London which is approximately a 50-minute journey.
There is so much to do in this part of Sussex and all within an easy driving distance. The cosmopolitan city of Brighton is just a 30-minute drive, with seaside attractions, lively bars, clubs, eateries, theatres, art galleries and shopping! You can saunter along the lanes for antique and boutique shops, or stroll along the pier. The Royal Pavilion is also well worth a visit, as is the Marina with waterside shops and dining. The seaside resort of Worthing is also less than a 30-minute drive.
There are many popular scenic walks nearby and the South Downs Link is just 2 miles away, really popular with amblers and hikers. There are National Trust homes and gardens to visit including Nymans, Leonardslee Lakes and Gardens, Wakehurst, Glyndebourne, Sheffield Park, Borde Hill Garden and Petworth House. There is also places to visit such as Arundel with its famous castle, RSPB Pulborough, Newhaven with ferry to Dieppe, the Bluebell Steam railway and Ashdown Forest. Slightly further afield you can visit Chichester Cathedral, Goodwood or Fontwell races. There is also racing at Brighton, Plumpton, Lingfield and Hickstead, and the South of England showground is within easy reach. There are many activities to enjoy in the area, walking, horse riding, golf, and cycling, which are ideal for the outdoor enthusiast! Beach 23¾ miles. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.
