Beudy Hir is perched on the edge of a picture postcard wooded valley deep within the rolling Carmarthenshire countryside, amongst the owner’s small holding complete with goats, chickens, cockerels and horses, the ideal tranquil spot for some relaxing and the perfect central base to discover Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion. A few minutes’ drive and you can be rambling within the Preseli Hills Pembrokeshire National Park and enjoying views out across Cardigan Bay and towards Ireland. Beudy Hir is located near the hamlet of Cefn-y-Pant and Llanboidy where you can find a village shop, a beautiful church and village pub.
This lovely slate cottage, which is all on one level, is perfect for families and friends. This cottage has been lovingly furnished throughout and retains much of its original character. Enjoy cooking breakfast in the spacious kitchen with beams and a stable door leading out to your elevated garden, with sublime views to enjoy whilst dining alfresco. On an evening enjoy relaxing in front of the focal wood burner within an inglenook slate fireplace. Both bedrooms offer a great standard of comfort and enjoy countryside views.
The dramatic North Pembrokeshire coastline and Cardigan Bay are all within a 20-minute drive and include some truly beautiful beaches with Poppet Sands, Newport Sands and Mwnt are really worth the visit. Locally, a visit to Cenarth’ Falls is not to be missed, and if timed well, you can see the salmon leaping up the falls which really is a fantastic sight. A great day out for all is the walled town of Tenby complete with its award-winning beach, cobbled streets and a host of eateries and craft shops. Oakwood, Wale’s largest theme park and Folly Farm Zoo are all within easy reach. Beach 14 miles. Shop 3 miles, pub 1 mile and restaurant 4 miles.
