Churnet Reach is a wonderfully unique, studio style annexe complete with private hot tub, set in the traditional Staffordshire Moorlands village of Cheddleton. A mahogany four poster bed adorned with crisp Egyptian cotton sheets takes pride of place in the open plan bedroom and living space, and en-suite facilities boast both a bath and separate waterfall shower. Additional good quality touches include remote controlled lights, high speed complimentary Wi-Fi and the all-important USB charging points. Tea and coffee making facilities plus a fridge/freezer are provided in the studio room, or a short step across the covered threshold will take you directly to your very own mini kitchen. A private outdoor terrace provides excellent opportunity for relaxed al fresco dining, and the covered hot tub with hotel quality bathrobes and slippers means you can enjoy the bubbly delights no matter what the weather.
Cheddleton village is just over a mile away and is home to a good handful of shops, a tea room and food serving pubs. For steam rail enthusiasts the delightful Churnet Valley Railway is just a 5 minute walk away, and Cheddleton Flint Mill provides a nod to Staffordshire’s industrial past. Surrounded by lovely moorland countryside, the Peak District National Park can be reached in just 15 minutes as can a popular local wedding venue, or for those thrill seekers, Britain’s premier theme park Alton Towers can be reached in around 20 minutes. Finally the traditional, historic market town of Leek with its charming cobbled market place provides a wide selection of amenities and is less than 10 minutes away by car. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 700 yards.
