Living/dining room: With 32" Freesat TV, DVD player and French doors leading to garden.
Kitchen: With electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, washing machine, tumble dryer and tiled floor. Separate toilet.
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed and en-suite with shower cubicle, toilet, heated towel rail, shaving point and tiled floor.
Bedroom 2: With double bed.
Bathroom: With shower over bath, toilet, heated towel rail and tiled floor.. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels, and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Welcome pack. Enclosed, lawned garden with patio, decked area, garden furniture and summer house. Private car park, allocated for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a step to the garden.. This charming cottage sits in the heart of Barnham village which has a pretty church, local shops and eateries, all about ½ mile from the property. There is also a train station in the village, ideal for exploring the area, leaving the car behind. Inside, a warm welcome awaits you, with many personal touches – including an honesty box for a selection of wines (either pay for or replace with another bottle for the next guests!). The interior has been carefully designed and co-ordinated, and outside the enclosed garden has a decked sitting-out area with an electric awning making it the perfect spot to sit and enjoy al fresco dining in the hot summer months!
Murrells Cottage is situated around ¾ miles from the nearest unspoilt beach and ideally located to explore the Sussex coastline, scenic walks ,The South Downs National Park and various other attractions. A popular walk locally is along the disused canal where birds and other wildlife can be observed. There are various beaches to visit, including the popular sands at West Wittering, Climping, Littlehampton and East Preston, all a short drive away drive. The cathedral city of Chichester is within easy reach and has a festival theatre, boat tours around the harbour, Goodwood House and Fontwell Park Races. Goodwood Race Course, Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival are also within easy reach.
The larger coastal resorts of Worthing and cosmopolitan Brighton with its Royal Pavilion, art galleries, theatres, The Lanes and extensive entertainment can be easily reached by car or train. There are so many places to visit in the area, including historic Arundel, famous for its castle, antique shops and Wildfowl and Wetlands. Travelling to the west, you can visit historic Naval Portsmouth where you will find Spinnaker Tower, historic ships and waterside dining or ferry trips to the Isle of Wight. There are many National Trust homes and gardens to see, places of interest, including The Weald and Downland Open Air Museum, and for the outdoor enthusiast, pursuits such as golf, sailing, boating, fishing, riding, water sports and cycling are all within easy reach. Beach ¾ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
