Fishing on-site (permit free of charge, licence required). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There is a fenced pond 20 yards from the property, and unfenced lakes in the grounds.. Discover these lovely cottages nestled on the borders of Worcestershire and Herefordshire, in the beautiful grounds of a historic 450 year old Elizabethan Manor House and outbuildings. The park is spread over 140 acres with a number of privately owned holiday homes, woodland, a deer park and three freshwater fishing lakes which are stocked with carp, rudd, roach and perch. Experienced and amateur anglers are able to enjoy fishing as a free permit is provided (licence required).
There are many walks throughout the estate which lead to incredible views of both Worcestershire and Herefordshire. It is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. These 5 cottages are set around the courtyard opposite the lounge and coffee bar, which is open at weekends to enjoy breakfast and lunch. The cottages can be booked separately or together for a larger group.
Peartree Cottage (UK11367) and Clover Patch Cottage (UK11369) sleep 2 guests and have an open plan living space. Honeysuckle Cottage (UK11372) is perfect for a young family. The double bedroom has a partitioned area with a bunk bed, and with a large Smart TV, it is great for keeping children entertained. Larch Bed Cottage (UK11368) sleeps 3 in 2 bedrooms, and Cinder Cottage (UK11370) sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms. The owners’ have made sure that each property offers their guests the most comfortable of stays.
Set in the stunning countryside of the West Midlands, these cottages are in a prime position to enjoy five Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a haven for tourists that love the countryside. Just 3 miles away is the ancient market town of Bromyard with an array of independent shops, restaurants, pubs and cafés. Areas to enjoy close by include Bringsty Common and Bromyard Downs, as well as a number of National Trust houses and gardens. Hampton Court Castle is well worth a visit. Malvern, with its famous festival theatres, The Time Machine Museum of Science Fiction and the stunning Malvern Hills, is within easy reach. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
