Families will love all the fun on the farm at Chelsworth Cottage. Facilities abound, catering for the tots, the children, the teenagers and adults! There is a gorgeous indoor swimming pool housed in an impressive Scandinavian style lodge; the doors can be thrown opened during the warm weather and the hot tub sits close by so you can dip from one to the other in seconds. There are many pool toys to be found so children can practise their swimming techniques and become confident in the water in a matter of days. Once it is time to dry off there is fabulous outdoors play ground - with climbing ropes and frames, swings and slides and a trampoline. Mini football goalposts and plenty of grass set-a-side for rounders or mini-cricket! Even on cooler days there is the well equipped play barn where younger children can stay safe in the soft play area. Table tennis, TV and Wii await the bigger kids (and grown-ups)!
Built in traditional style this modern cottage offers you the perfect family holiday home at any time of the year. Sleeping 8 in four en-suite bedrooms, there is also plenty of room for babies or infants with a permanent cot in the master double bedroom and a highchair downstairs, plus plenty of other pieces of baby equipment, toys and games available. A charming barn set on a fantastic farmyard, ideal for family groups with so much on offer to keep children of all ages entertained.
Relaxing in the private garden, dining al-freso over the summer evenings or soaking up the sun. Warm and comfy winters in the sitting room with big sofas and arm chairs for all and a log burning stove sitting in a large brick fireplace. The cottage gives fabulous views across the garden and the lush Suffolk countryside. Equipped to an excellent standard, all bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with the downstairs twin awarded Mobility Level 2 status helping accommodate less able or elderly guests.
The fenced garden makes this the perfect pet friendly cottage for up to 2 well behaved dogs. A safe haven for your pets so nobody has to be left behind! Inquisitive children of all ages will love the nature walk through woodland; spotting wildlife and discovering flora and fauna. The children can feed the farm animals along the way like the friendly pygmy goats and hungry pigs or sheep. You could even help collect the eggs from the busy hens - always a happy holiday memory for the children!
Parents will love to be pampered at the on-site beauty salon offering massages, facials, St Tropez spray-tans or manicures to name a few classic treatments. An all weather tennis court is available just next to the salon and swimming pool, everything is so convenient and close you’ll easily be kept busy during your stay.
You don’t have to go far to stock up on essentials, just pre-order a breakfast or lunch hamper or take a night off cooking with a selection of home-cooked ready meals available from the cabin shop open to guests.
