Booking the Mill House and Wheel House together as 'Goonwinnow Farm Cottages' creates a unique space that can accommodate up to 19 people, with two large hot tubs, garden space and courtyard for your private use. As is often the case with Cornish barn conversions, the Wheel House and Mill House have an ‘upside down' layout, which creates a lovely open and airy living space upstairs with bedrooms on the lower level. Entering up a few stairs from the garden area, are stunning open plan kitchen/living areas with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams. Also on this upper level in each cottage is a double bedroom and shower room. Downstairs are three further bedrooms, a shower room and a bathroom. The eight bedrooms consist of: 2x king , 2x double, 2x twin (or superkings), 1x triple bunk room and 1x quad bunk room. The six washrooms are: 2x bath with shower over, 3x shower rooms and 1x wc+sink. Need a little extra space? Why not add on the gorgeous studio suite ‘An Leti'. Perfect for grandparents or other extended family members who want to holiday with the rest of the family but would like a quiet sanctuary to retreat to at the end of a hectic day! Accommodation – Wheel House Ground Floor: Double bedroom with 5' king size bed and sink, twin bedroom with 3' zip & link beds which can be made into a 6' double bed, bunk bedroom with two sets of bunks (sleeping 4). Family bathroom with shower over bath & WC. There is also a separate WC. First Floor: Open plan living room and kitchen with a dining area. There is a double bedroom with 4'6" bed and a separate shower room with WC. Accommodation – Mill House Ground Floor: King size bedroom with 5' double bed, double bedroom, bunk bedroom with additional single bed. Family bathroom with shower over bath & WC. Shower room with WC. First Floor: Open plan living room and kitchen with a dining area. Twin bedroom with 3' zip & link beds which can be made into a 6' double bed. Shower room with WC. Exterior: The front door opens onto a small deck with 5 steps down to the ground level. There is outside seating, a fantastic hot tub and kettle BBQ (charcoal provided). Within the 7 acres of pasture is a children's play area, picnic benches and summer house above a large pond. The games room houses a pool table, table tennis and table football. The cottages are provided with well-stocked fitted kitchen, an electric oven and hob, a microwave, toaster, kettle, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, TV and DVD player, radio/CD player, mini bluetooth speaker, barbecue, garden furniture and central heating. There is free WIFI available in all cottages, huge Egyptian cotton bath sheets, crisp white bed linen. There is an iron & ironing board and hair dryer. Hot tub towels are also provided as well as cots+bedding and high chairs on request. Smoking is not permitted within the cottages or games room. There is plentiful on-site parking. Within the farm grounds are a communal games room with table tennis, pool and table football as well as an outdoor play area with swings and climbing frame. Guests are welcome to roam in the fields and make use of these communal facilities. Changeover day during peak months is Saturday with flexibility and short-stays at other times.
