The area is brimming with wildlife, including deer and birds of prey, and offers the perfect base for guests wanting to get away from it all. The village pub is within a mile, making it the ideal pit stop during long walks through the picturesque countryside. For history lovers a visit to Sherborne with its historic abbey and castles is a must, before exploring the many independent shops and restaurants on offer. Other attractions easily accessible include the Air Museum at Fleet, Haynes Motor Museum, plus a wealth of National Trust properties and gardens. Completing the accommodation is the twin bedroom with 1920s style beds which has an en suite shower and WC. Heading outside from the lounge or dining area you will find a patio with garden furniture and a BBQ, the ideal spot for al fresco meals and drinks. Beyond here is a fully enclosed lawn with views across the surrounding countryside. There is off road parking for two cars on the gravelled area to the side of the property.
