Situated in a slightly elevated position on the outskirts of the village of Corton Denham on a no through lane, this stylish, semi detached property has views across the beautiful Corton hills. The area is brimming with wildlife, including deer and birds of prey, and offers the perfect base for guests wanting to get away from it all. The village pub is within a mile, making it the ideal pit stop during long walks through the picturesque countryside. For history lovers a visit to Sherborne with its historic abbey and castles is a must, before exploring the many independent shops and restaurants on offer. Other attractions easily accessible include the Air Museum at Fleet, Haynes Motor Museum, plus a wealth of National Trust properties and gardens. On entering this single storey barn conversion you will find a stunning open plan lounge/kitchen/dining room. This is a wonderful space to relax and socialise, with its vaulted ceiling and large windows, which together give the room a fantastic light and airy feel. The lounge area has a wood burner, Smart TV and a cosy seating area. The dining space is adjacent where there are far reaching countryside views to enjoy whilst having leisurely meals. The kitchen area is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. A utility room is just next door and houses a washing machine. Each of the three bedrooms benefit from doors which open out to the enclosed garden. The Master bedroom has a super king size zip and link bed (which can be made up as a twin on request), with an en suite bathroom with a bath, handheld shower and WC. The king size bedroom has a Jack and Jill en suite bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC, also accessible from the hallway. Completing the accommodation is the twin bedroom with 1920s style beds which has an en suite shower and WC. Heading outside from the lounge or dining area you will find a patio with garden furniture and a BBQ, the ideal spot for al fresco meals and drinks. Beyond here is a fully enclosed lawn with views across the surrounding countryside. There is off road parking for two cars on the gravelled area to the side of the property.
