The cottage is set in the heart of the pretty village of Stoke Abbott, which wouldn t look out of place on picture postcards, with its distinctive honey stone properties and historic pub. This area is renowned for its network of walks through the picturesque countryside with Pilsdon Pen, Ham Hill and The Cerne Abbas Giant all within easy reach. Heading back into the hallway you will find a shower room with shower and WC and the galley kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. Heading upstairs to the first floor, you can take time to unwind together in the second lounge area, where you can curl up and watch a film on the TV/DVD. Just next door is a charming double bedroom, with lovely garden views and a light and bright ambience. Heading outside you will find a small terrace to the front of the cottage, which has garden furniture and views over the pretty cottage garden which is shared with the owners. Guests also have use of their own small private enclosed area of the garden next to the cottage with BBQ, outdoor seating and a cosy shed with sofa (available to use between Easter and the end of October) offering a peaceful outlook. Off road parking for one car is available to the side of the cottage, with a further parking space on the village lane (subject to availability).
