This property is situated in the village of Bourton in North Dorset, a thriving village in the Stour Valley with a handy post office and pub. Three miles north of the village, is Stourhead, a beautiful Palladian house with spacious landscaped gardens which are lovingly maintained by the National Trust. For those who like to spend time exploring the local towns and browsing the shops, the towns of Shaftesbury and Bruton are both located within ten miles of the property, each with their own unique character and choice of pubs and cafes. Other attractions in the area surrounding the property include Longleat Safari Park, Stonehenge, Salisbury Cathedral, and Glastonbury. Guests approach this single storey property via a set of external steps, from which the front door opens onto the light filled open plan lounge/kitchen/diner where a wood burner creates a wonderfully cosy atmosphere. The lounge area, which looks out over the patio garden, has two comfortable armchairs, as well as Smart TV with access to Netflix. The dining table seats four, beyond which the kitchen area is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. The bedroom is a delightful king size room with a bay window which overlooks the front of the property, whilst the shower room offers a shower and WC. Outside, there is a private patio garden to the rear of the property which is accessed through the patio doors in the living area. Comfortable garden furniture has been provided to allow guests to make the most of this area. Ample roadside parking.
