Cottage in Isle of Wight, Brighstone

Isle of Wight. Sleeps up to 4

This charming property is set in the heart of the pretty village of Brighstone, which is home to many characterful properties and is surrounded by picturesque countryside. Enjoy a stroll to the local pub, pick up your essentials in the shop, or why not explore the history of the village at the museum. A short drive will take you to the beaches at Brighstone Bay, which are popular for fossil hunting and surfing. This area is also a haven for keen walkers and cyclists, with nearby footpaths leading to Brighstone Downs and the renowned Tennyson Trail, which links Carisbrooke with The Needles. The National Trust owned Mottistone Manor is also close by, where you can explore the idyllic gardens. Take the short path from the parking area to the entrance of this terraced property. Step into the inviting hallway, which has a useful separate WC. Next is the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which is a bright and airy space cleverly divided into sociable areas. The lounge area is the ideal spot to relax with a good book or perhaps curl up with your four legged friend and watch a film on the TV/DVD. The kitchen area is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a comfortable dining space opposite, perfect for relaxed meals for four. Heading back into the hallway you will find a flight of stairs that lead you to the first floor, here you can relax in the king size bedroom to the rear of the house, overlooking the garden. Just next door is a stylish bathroom with separate shower and WC. Completing the accommodation is a pretty twin room set to the front of the cottage. Heading outside from the lounge/kitchen/diner you will find a patio and small lawn, which is fully enclosed and has garden furniture. Off road parking for one car is available to the side of the terrace, just along the path. Additional roadside parking can be found to the front of the property and is subject to availability.
