Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet.. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Initial fuel for multi-fuel burners included. External utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Small enclosed courtyard with garden furniture. 14-acre natural un-spoilt grounds (shared with owner). Bike store. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced stream in the grounds, 550 yards away.. This charming, 19th-century, detached farmhouse has been totally refurbished and renovated, resulting in an authentic, old-style property but with all modern conveniences and facilities. The owner has a keen interest in history so has spent much time sourcing original furniture and artefacts of times gone by. The farmhouse is located at the foothills of the Ox Mountains and close to Dunmoran Strand and Aughris Head on the Wild Atlantic Way and the Sligo Way walking trail is just behind the farmhouse.

This property is an ideal base for anybody wanting to tour the area. Sligo is 25km away and Ballina 35km, whilst Lissadel House, Ben Bulben, Drumcliffe and the Sligo Country Museum are a few historical places worth visiting. For the more active, there are miles of walking/cycling routes in the area, be it road, beach or mountains. Bike hire and horse trekking are also available locally. Fishing enthusiasts are spoilt, with rivers, lakes and sea fishing all available in the area. There are numerous water sports nearby, including swimming, canoeing, wind surfing and diving. Golfers too are spoilt for choice, with both parkland and championship links. Beach 5 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 5 miles.. Approximate distance to Knock airport is 47 km.
