Situated in the attractive riverside village of Clogheen, Garden Cottage, as its name suggests, is a semi-detached cottage surrounded by a very large garden on three side and has lovely mountain views. As well as being within a 5-minute stroll to traditional pubs, restaurants and shops, the area offers some of the best river fishing in the country. There are fabulous scenic mountain walks and excellent golf and horse riding facilities. Just 3 miles away lies The Vee which is a spectacular driving route through the Knockmealdown Mountains, separating Tipperary and Waterford. Just 8 miles away is historic Cahir town, home to one of Ireland’s largest and best preserved castles. The town of Cashel hosts the Bru Boru Traditional Irish Festival (June-August), with its shows of Irish music, traditional dance, songs and theatre. Further afield lies the main cities of Waterford, Cork, Kilkenny and Limerick, approximately an hour away. Killarney can be reached within 2 hours. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.. Approximate distance to Cork airport is 77 km.
