Formerly farm buildings, the properties provide a ‘home from home’ and have spectacular views across Bride Valley to Dorset’s Jurassic Coast. The owners live on site and are on hand shoud you need advice or assistance during your stay.

Dorset is the best kept secret in the south west with its dramatic Jurassic coastline and beautiful, lush, rolling countryside. This really is a fantastic place to enjoy a family holiday with breathtaking beaches, fossil hunting along the Jurassic coast or visit the many attractions including castles. Staying at Rudge Farm Cottages will also let you sample the delights of the local food and drink which has made Dorset a gastronomic holiday destination with its many and varied local producers, celebrity chefs and country pubs.

Close to Rudge Farm Cottages there are plenty of fantastic Dorset beaches, including Hive Beach with its popular café, and Lyme Regis and Weymouth. The Dorset coastline is a World Heritage Site and provides some of the most dramatic coastline in the UK with Chesil Beach, Durdle Door and Golden Cap. Around the farm are plenty of leisure facilities, a picturesque woodland walk and sporting activities for the more active.

Alternatively you can enjoy relaxing down by the meadows or perhaps take a gentle row around the lake. The games room and games barn provide plenty of indoor activities if the weather is not so good. These include pool, table tennis, skittle alley and table football. Within the games room is a DVD library so you can enjoy a film in the comfort of your cottage, as well as a selection of books and board games. The games room also has a free Wi-Fi hotspot for all our guests perfect for checking emails, searching Google or updating your social media.
