This centrally situated flat is ideal for exploring the coastal town of Aberystwyth and the surrounding area. Situated on the lower ground floor of a town house, but with level access and a pleasant, private enclosed garden in which to sit, it also has its own car parking space too. Ideal for families, it is within walking distance of the university, and also the Aberystwyth Arts Centre which offers a vibrant selection of entertainment from theatre and dance to cinema and exhibitions, all year round. The Flat is also just a short walk to the town centre, where you’ll find the full range of shops and a great range of cafés and eateries. There is also the Ceredigion Museum, which is housed in an old theatre. You can spend an hour or two here exploring, and there is Welsh food on offer in the café.
Stroll along to the north end of the promenade and hop on board the cliff railway which ascends Constitution Hill, giving the best view of the sea. You can explore the Wales Coastal Path, or venture inland to the Bwlch Nant yr Arian Forest Visitor Centre to watch the red kites being fed, or explore the forest paths. Or you can catch a beautifully restored steam train on the Vale of Rheidol Railway from Aberystwyth station as the line gradually ascends on the slopes of the Rheidol Valley to the spectacular waterfalls at Devil’s Bridge. Beach ½ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 150 yards.
