There are 12 steps to the second level of garden, and a stream 330 yards away. . This delightful, detached farmhouse is on a working sheep and beef farm, set up high on a hill overlooking the Usk Valley and the fields below it. The property is accessed via a single track through the fields of sheep (please make sure you close the gates behind you), and is the perfect getaway for those wanting to explore the area of Usk or for a family adventure where the children can play in the enclosed garden. There is a stream 330 yards from the property, which is great fun in the warmer days for dipping your toes in whilst soaking up the sun. There are also other farm buildings and livestock in the yard next to the house which are not to be accessed by guests. The property comprises of one double bedroom, a kingsize bedroom (which can be separated into twin beds) and two single rooms. The living room has a lovely open fire making those chillier evenings cosy.

This is a great place for those wanting to explore the area - bring your bikes and ride along the River Usk. There is plenty to explore in the lovely historic town of Usk, with lots of coffee shops and boutiques, and plenty of history too, including the ruins of a Norman castle which are a must see. Abergavenny is 11 miles away, and its food festival is fantastic. There are also plenty of walks to be had here, for the more adventurous, head up to the Sugar Loaf and take in the glorious views. Whatever you decide to do, this property is a great base for exploring the area. Shop, pub and restaurant ¾ miles.
