To the west you'll find West Bay, Bridport and Charmouth and to the East, Weymouth, Durdle Door, Lulworth and Corfe Castle. Staying closer to Ammonite Cottage you can find lovely restaurants serving local seafood, amongst them, both Quiddles and The Cove House Inn, both of which are just a short walk away. If you want to enjoy spectacular views, follow the coastal path to the top of Portland where on a clear day you can gather views towards Exmouth and beyond. Sunsets viewed from Chesil beach or even the top of Portland are not to be missed.
