Local shops, restaurants, pubs and even a cinema are all just over a mile away and there are some fantastic walks from the doorstep with great access to Snowdonia which offers more wonderful walking opportunities and mountain bike tracks to explore. Blaenau Ffestiniog is home to a host of adrenaline-fuelled activities at Llechwedd Slate Caverns, Zip World Titan (the largest zip zone in Europe), Zip World Caverns and Bounce Below (deep mine zip wires and the largest underground system of trampolines in the world!) are all located here. For something a little less energetic, the well-known Ffestiniog narrow gauge steam railway is also close by and will be loved by all. A little further afield, why not visit the Italian village and gardens of Portmeirion, together with historic castles and sandy beaches all within a 20 minute drive away? Bryn Eithin is ideally placed and provides a great base for a holiday or short break anytime of the year.
