Here you can enjoy a morning coffee and take in those picturesque views over the Millennium Footpath, Llanelli Beach and Carmarthen Bay. The Millennium Coastal Path runs past your door and onto the harbour town of Burry Port and Pembrey, and can be explored by foot or bicycle (hire available locally). It offers 13 miles of sublime coastline with an array of wildlife habitats, activities and picture post card views, wonderful for exploring with your family.
At the heart of the Millennium Coastal Park stands the iconic Discovery Centre perched overlooking Llanelli Beach offering panoramic views over the Loughor Estuary, Worm’s Head and the Gower Peninsular. Here you can find out all about the vast array of leisure activities available throughout Carmarthenshire. For keen golfers, the Machynys Peninsula Golf Club and Spa, a Jack Nicklaus designed course, is only 300 yards away with fantastic dining available overlooking the greens. Take a trip to the National Wetland Centre Wales, where you can hand feed the rarest geese in the world, spot some colourful flamingos or enjoy bird watching from one of the many hives.
