This fabulous, semi-detached barn conversion is ideally located in the Brecon Beacons National Park. This property is ideal for those wanting to explore the Beacons and the Black Mountains, and is situated in the village of Talyllyn, approximately 5 miles from the market town of Brecon. There certainly is plenty to do in the area, whether it be cycling or pony trekking. Llangorse lake is nearby with many waterborne activities including the hire of rowing and fishing boats, kayaks, canoes, pedaloes and sailing dinghies. Mooring facilities are also available for boat owners who enjoy water skiing, windsurfing and sailing.
Brecon itself hosts plenty of coffee shops and quaint little shops to keep you busy, and there is also The Regimental Museum of The Royal Welsh, which is definitely worthy of a visit. Take a walk along the canal, great for exercising your pets, and stop off at the villages in between such as Talybont-on-Usk. Just 16 miles away is the literary town of Hay-on-Wye with its fabulous book shops, or stay closer to home and visit the local pub, which is about a mile down the road from the property. Shop 5 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
