Only a 45-minute drive from Glasgow, and a few moments’ walk from the shores of Loch Lomond, this very comfortable, terraced cottage is perfect for couples and families in which to enjoy living in the heart of this pretty conservation village, amid breathtaking scenery on the western shore of the loch with views of Ben Lomond. Originally built as a model village for workers from nearby slate quarries, the village has great charm and is well served with local cafés, shops and several good restaurants, and the TV series ’Take the High Road’ was filmed in Luss. There is a surprising range of activities locally, including wonderful walks, water sports of all varieties, cycle trails, archery, nearby golf course and spa, and of course memorable boat cruises around the loch and islands from Luss pier. The brilliance of the night skies are easily appreciated here when the nights are clear, and the adventures can continue by exploring further afield over to Oban or around the Trossachs. Beach and pier 150 yards. Shop 50 yards, pub and restaurant 100 yards.
