Lovely family holiday home in charming Bonchurch, Ventnor

This is our family holiday home ideally situated between the pretty village of Bonchurch and the Victorian seaside resort of Ventnor. Secluded Bonchurch beach has rock pools to explore and Ventnor Esplanade has a stretch of golden sand, a harbour and good local restaurants and pubs. Easy access to great walking on Bonchurch Down or the scenic South Wight coastal path.
The house is modern and comfortable with a new kitchen, double range oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier. There are 3 double bedrooms 1 twin bedroom, and one single bedroom with a single bed suitable for a child. There is a huge sun terrace on the first floor, a sun room/living room on the ground floor and a large south facing garden. A playhouse to meet every child's dream is a popular feature with younger families. An outdoor table tennis table to keep older ones amused.
All fuel, electricity, bed linen and towels are included in the rental price. Buses to Ventnor, Shanklin and Ryde are available a short walk away so a car is not necessary.


Ferry Links: Car ferry providers are Wightlink (Portsmouth to Fishbourne and Lymington to Yarmouth) or Red Funnel (Southampton to East Cowes).

Accessibility Part 1: Parking area is to the front of Garden House and very close to the front entrance with ample turning and unloading on a level paved surface.
The Front Entrance has a 200mm threshold, lever handles and an 800mm clear opening into porch, which has a matting flooring and is 800mm wide. The front door has a 200mm threshold an 800mm clear opening and knob handle.
The Rear Entrance is accessible via a level side passage to a decking area. From here there are 4 x 160mm steps to the rear door which has a 100mm threshold and a 1350mm clear opening and lever handles.
Ground floor accommodation includes 1 double bedroom, a wc/shower, a kitchen, a dining room, a sitting room, a utility room and a play room. The kitchen/dining area is open plan. There are 90mm thresholds between the play room and the sitting room and dining rooms respectively. All doors have at least 750mm clear width. There is an 120mm step between the utility room and the single bedroom.

Accessibility Part 2: Shower/wc/whb has 75mm clear access via a door and has a flush rubber tiled floor. The shower tray has a dimpled floor, sliding doors, a 130mm threshold and controls at 1200mm above ground level. There is no hand rail within the shower.
Kitchen/ Dining room has all appliances and storage located under or on the worktop, with the exception of plates and crockery kept in cupboards above. There is ample space for moving around this area, although no space is provided under the worktop for wheelchair users.
The First Floor is accessed by 14 number of stairs with a 660mm width and a 180mm drop. The first floor has low pile carpet in hall and bedrooms. There are 3 bedrooms (2 double, 1 twin) and a bathroom with bath/wc/whb. All have level access through doors with 750mm clear width. The double bedroom has access to a decked balcony via a door with 640mm clear width and a 50mm threshold. The bathroom has flush vinyl flooring. The bath is 600mm high. There is no handrail.
