Ty Gwilym Barn nestles in a peaceful courtyard in Llangorse village. Set within the Brecon Beacons National Park, the barn oozes character including exposed beams, stonework and many original features. The owners, who live close by, have furnished and presented this spacious holiday home beautifully and it also enjoys views of open meadows and of Myndd Troed. Ty Gwilym is very conveniently situated, tucked away from the main village but with two pubs within a very short walking distance. Its doorstep amenities, as well as peace and quiet make it the perfect holiday base with lots of activities and attractions nearby.
Llangorse lies in the crook of the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains. With its stunning lake and breathtaking scenery, it’s a perfect setting for both the very active and those who prefer a more gentle and relaxing holiday. In high season, the lake offers fishing, rowing boats, canoe and kayak hire, while the Llangorse Activity Centre offers climbing, sky trekking and horse riding. A walker’s haven; public footpaths lead directly from Ty Gwilym and within easy driving distance, there are more challenging walks such as Offa’s Dyke, Pen y Fan, Sugar Loaf Mountain and Hay Bluff.
