One can explore Portland with its castle, museums and Sailing Academy, or onto the Chesil Beach and World Heritage Coast down to Lyme Regis or up to Lulworth Cove, or visit Weymouth and Dorchester with their many family attractions. Perhaps even take a day trip on the ferry to Jersey or Guernsey. Beach 2 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub 100 yards and restaurant 200 yards.
