The area is very popular with the Priory town of Christchurch, award-winning beaches and Site of Special Scientific Interest, all nearby. This three-storey family home has a shower/utility room and a twin bedroom on the ground floor, as well as an enclosed patio which overlooks a gently flowing stream. The first floor living/dining room with a balcony, offers a light and airy space, as does the well-equipped kitchen. Upstairs, the second floor boasts a master bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a family bathroom and two further double bedrooms.
As its name suggests, Between The Quay and The Sea is close to both, being just a 5-minute walk to the local beach, the picturesque quay, shop, pub and restaurant. This wonderful property is also close to many sightseeing attractions. Mudeford is a quaint fishing village with great charm and history and its old fishermen’s cottages were allegedly used by smugglers. In season, a ferry runs from the quay to Mudeford Spit with its colourful beach huts with walks to Hengistbury Head. Mudeford Harbour is a protected area of water and is popular with sailing and windsurfing enthusiasts. The town has a historic cinema as well as the historic Priory and The Red House Museum. Stanpit Marsh is a Site of Special Scientific Interest, and the nearby wetlands are ideal for birdwatching.
Within easy reach are Bournemouth and Poole, with their award-winning beaches and seaside attractions. Other popular places to visit include Lymington with ferries to the Isle of Wight, the New Forest for pony and bike rides, Studland Bay, Brownsea Island, Corfe Castle, Swanage, Exbury Gardens, Kimmeridge Bay and the UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic Coast are great for outings.
