Pine Tree Cottage is set on the edge of the coastal town of Llanelli, and is directly adjacent to Parc Howard Museum and Art Gallery, which really is worth exploring. Only 5 minutes away is the Millennium Coastal Path, which meanders along this glorious coastline through Llanelli, Pwll, Burry Port and onto Pembrey Country Park, with its golden sandy beach, horse riding trails, a toboggan run and dry ski slopes.
Pine Tree Cottage is a mid-terrace property and has been lovingly renovated to a very good standard, with a light and airy, galley style kitchen which leads onto a private enclosed garden compete with a decked area, perfect in which to enjoy those balmy summer days or an alfresco barbecue.
For those keen golfers, spend a morning at Machynys Peninsula Golf Club followed by a spot of lunch. Here you can enjoy great golf, fantastic views and freshly prepared home produce. A trip to Llanelli Wetland Centre is not to be missed, here you can hand feed the rarest geese in the world, go bug hunting or even pond dipping. Travelling west, you can visit Kidwelly Castle for a trip back in history, or further along discover the picture postcard township of Laugharne, the home town of the famous poet Dylan Thomas. To this day, you can still visit his home and writing shed, with its envious views over the Laugharne Estuary. Travelling inland, visit the National Botanic Gardens of Wales, which has the world’s largest, single-span glasshouse. Pine Tree Cottage really is great location from which to explore Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Beach 1 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 300 yards.
