Plas Cottage is perched on the edge of woodlands with distant sea views over the beach of Aberporth and further out over Cardigan Bay. It’s the perfect location for exploring this rugged and sublime north Ceredigion border. It sits in a quiet cul-de-sac and is just a short walk from the Welsh coastal resort of Aberporth where you can relax on the golden sandy beach with your family, go rock pooling or taste the locally caught sea food at the pub which overlooks Aberporth Beach. Plas Cottage is a semi-detached property which has been thoughtfully furnished, is light and airy throughout and has a large decked area overlooking the garden from which you can take in the sea air and views out over Cardigan Bay.
Bottlenose dolphins and basking sharks are a frequent sight along this north Ceredigion coastline. For the opportunity to get a little closer to these beautiful sights, take a boat trip out from the nearby market town of Cardigan, then enjoy a lazy afternoon in the town browsing antique and craft shops. Take a short drive inland to Cilgeran where you will discover the Welsh Wildlife Centre on the banks of the River Teifi. Further north along this scenic coastline is Aberaeron with its multi-coloured houses and stunning harbour, or for the more adventurous, travel south for a day out at Oakwood, Wales’ largest theme park which is sure to entertain the whole family. Beach 800 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
