Here, the coast with its sandy beach offers opportunities for canoeing, windsurfing and swimming, and beautiful walks can be enjoyed amid the nearby Plas Penhelig Gardens. There are miles of sand and shingle beaches to enjoy, backed by dunes along the coast to Tywyn. The slipway at Aberdovey, 30 miles, makes it a popular sailing centre, also good for surfing, water-skiing and fishing trips. Golf and horse riding are within 5 miles. Shops 5 miles, pub 1¼ miles.
