This delightful, centrally situated holiday cottage is perfect for easy access into Edinburgh by train from Kirknewton station, which is a five minute drive, and to explore the surrounding areas. It is set in the grounds of the owner’s home just off the A71, on the edge of a small collection of houses with an open outlook over farmland. It is very light and comfortable with a summerhouse and patio being ideal for relaxing after a day away. Nearby, visit Jupiter Artland, a contemporary art park and gallery, enjoy hill walks in Pentland Regional Park, retail therapy at the designer outlets in Livingston (five miles), or head off to the New Lanark World Heritage Site on the Clyde, which is a 40-minute drive. There is golf at Dalmahoy and Pumpherston. Edinburgh offers activity and entertainment for all ages and interests, and this cottage offers a lovely peaceful retreat to come back to.
