The small garden to the rear is ideal for relaxing with family or friends. Rothbury, 5 miles, has a selection of pubs, tea rooms, an award winning butcher, river walks and children’s park. Alnwick with the ducal castle, famous for the scenes in Harry Potter, is only a few miles drive. Travel into the National Park on an evening and sample ‘The Dark Skies’. The cottage is a great location for ramblers, cyclists, golfers or fisherman, with Caistron Trout Fishery only 2 miles away. An ideal location for those simply wishing to tour the delights of this very special and unspoilt country, known to many as the secret Kingdom. Shop and pub 3½ miles.
