A beautiful semi-detached house, attached to the ownerÂ’s home, in the town of Crewkerne in Somerset. This cottage has been furnished to a good standard and is well-equipped throughout, offering a comfortable holiday base for families or a small group of friends. The cottage is made up of an open plan living area with a large kitchen which has been beautifully finished with everything needed to prepare some lovely home-cooked meals, with the dining table and chairs even having extra benches if needed. The sitting area has plenty of comfy sofas in front of a welcoming woodburner, making a great place to relax in front of, after a full day out and about exploring the area. Upstairs are two spacious super king-size double bedrooms, both with the flexibility of zip/link beds, being twins if needed. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms adding to the facilities of this gorgeous property. To the outside of the cottage is an enclosed courtyard garden with furniture; a wonderful place for some alfresco dining or even to relax with a glass of something chilled. A short walk takes you into the market town of Crewkerne, with a number of independent shops, a museum and inns serving good food and local Somerset cider. There are plenty of areas for walking and cycling in the area including the South Somerset Cycle Route, as well as being a great base for enjoying the Jurassic coastline, just a short drive away, including the popular seaside resorts of West Bay and Lyme Regis. Being so close to the Dorset border makes it an ideal location for exploring this lovely area and a short drive away are numerous attractions to visit including Forde Abbey and Montecute House. Whatever you decide to do, East Wing is a wonderful place to enjoy all that Somerset has to offer at any time of the year.
