A terraced cottage backing onto the harbour wall in the popular sea port of Amble. Cosy and comfortable Redgate is in an ideal location for visiting all the exciting restaurants and attractions that Amble has to offer, perfect for couples or small families requiring a central base to explore this historical county. On entering your cottage your are welcomed into a lovely sitting room with warming woodburner, dining area, cosy sofas and Sky Signature TV. To the rear of the cottage there is a well-presented kitchen with all the requirements needed for a family, seaside break. A door from the sitting room leads up to two lovely bedrooms, one double with TV and a single. The bathroom is a place of relaxation, with a freestanding roll-top bath and a large walk-in rain shower, look closely and you can see Warkworth Castle and the river estuary whilst washing your hair! To the rear of Redgate there is a small enclosed yard, perfect for letting dogs out safely or just sitting and watching the world and the boats go by. On Saturdays and Sundays the area to the rear has market stalls along with the harbour pods selling gifts and all manner of exciting things to purchase. The busy centre of Amble is just a few minutes walk and has some superb restaurants, coffee shops and ice cream parlours. With the Heritage Coastline on your doorstep take your pick of the historical castles and long golden beaches. Take a trip to the delightful Alnwick Gardens or simply stay put in your well-placed Amble cottage and soak up the local area. Redgate is ideally placed for your Northumbrian break.
