Situated as it is in the heart of this beautiful countryside, this charming cottage is ideally placed to enjoy a host of fabulous walks, cycling and horse riding. National Cycle Route 44 runs close by, whilst to the rear of the property is a public bridleway which takes you through rural lanes and unspoilt countryside. Just a few miles away is the beautiful village of Pontesbury with its lovely shops, pubs and restaurants. The Stiperstones, Carding Mill Valley and Long Mynd, with their breathtaking views, are short drives away. The medieval county town of Shrewsbury is 12 miles away with its cobbled streets, lovely riverside walks, independent shops and pubs and restaurants to explore. Church Stretton, Much Wenlock, Bridgnorth and Ironbridge are all within easy reach and offer local markets, historical buildings, and the opportunity to enjoy local food and drink. Why not cross over the border into Wales and take a ride on the Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway, or walk the shores around the stunning Lake Vyrnwy?
