You can take a hike to Kinder Scout and Lantern Pike, taking in this magnificent stunning moorland in the Dark Peak with its breathtaking views. Also close by is the excellent Sett Valley Trail, a 2.5 mile recreational bridleway for walkers, cyclists and horse riders with outstanding views. Little Hayfield, a hamlet near the village of Hayfield has a lovely old traditional pub and is within walking distance of the cottage. Nearby Buxton, Castleton and Bakewell are all just short drives away, whilst the historic house of Chatsworth is well-worth a visit. This charming cottage is in a great location which can be enjoyed at any time of the year.
