Pebbles Foxglove Way, West Bay

Dorset. Sleeps up to 4

Pebbles Foxglove Way is a charming, semi-detached property resting on the outskirts of West Bay and is an ideal destination for families, friends, couples or sharing couples and offers spacious living space, which has been tastefully furnished and decorated to reflect the locality, including the rope making town of Bridport. This delightful property features driveway parking as well as shed storage for bikes and is situated a short and level stroll into the heart of West Bay where you can admire the dramatic scenery of the Jurassic coastline alongside the harbour and beaches as well as enjoy the numerous cafes and restaurants. After a fun packed day in West Bay, whether it is lazing on the beach, a boat/fishing trip from the harbour, crabbing on the harbour wall, a challenging walk along the coast path or time spent in the award-winning Discovery Centre, return to your new home to relax. A fully equipped kitchen/diner serves as the perfect spot to rustle up and tuck into a delicious home-cooked meal with your loved ones. A conservatory with a dining table and chairs makes great spot to dine if you fancy a change of scenery, gazing out upon the peaceful lawned back garden. You can even place the table and chairs on the patio if you prefer. When you’re finished, kick back in the sitting room with a good book, enjoy a film on the Smart TV with Sky, or listen to your favourite music. You may prefer to play games from the selection provided or plan your next day using the numerous local guide books and maps available for your use. Once the sun sets, don’t forget to check out the dark skies in the back garden where you may be able to spot the Milky Way, then head upstairs to rest in one of two inviting bedrooms with quality linens, choosing between a plush super-king (6ft wide) bed or a well-appointed twin room, not forgetting the added luxury of the separate dressing room. Begin your days with a revitalising cleanse under the shower before you set out to explore more of Dorset. Enjoy time exploring the historic market town of Bridport which is a short drive away and offers a wonderful day out with more cafes, bars and restaurants, alongside quirky independent shops, antique and art centres and museum, plus the very popular twice weekly markets. Why not board the Jurassic open topped coastal bus (seasonal) a short walk from the house and head to either Lyme Regis or Weymouth? Enjoy a leisurely stroll around the streets and alleyways and famous Cobb of Lyme Regis, a popular coastal town a half hour drive west from Pebbles with many attractions for families. Fossil hunting on Charmouth Beach is very popular but be very careful of falling cliffs! Head east along the Jurassic coast road for breath-taking views of the coastline, including Chessil Beach. Stop off at Abbotsbury to explore the Subtropical Gardens, Swannery and Castle. Further afield you can explore the delights of Weymouth and Portland. For the more energetic, enjoy a walk along the South West Coast Path from your front door to enjoy breath-taking Dorset AONB. Golden Cap provides views across to Dartmoor on clear days. Choose Pebbles West Bay to make your next visit one to remember.
