Further afield, discover the historic Roman city of Chester, home to the famous Chester Zoo, a museum, a Roman amphitheatre, watersporting opportunities, shopping facilities and one of the most renowned racecourses in the country. The lively seaside towns of Conway and Llandudno are also an easy drive away, offering lovely sandy beaches, promenades, harbourside walks and piers, ideal for ice cream in the sunshine.
