Fawley is a wonderful, detached holiday home located in Lyme Regis Dorset, on the popular UNESCO World heritage Jurassic Coast. Sleeping up to eight guests, the accommodation has been carefully considered to offer everything needed for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday amongst family and friends. The open plan kitchen diner is the real heart of the home, bright and spacious and a great sociable space. A welcome pack for your arrival ensures a great start to your holiday and will include milk, tea and a selection of locally sourced produce and treats. The well fitted kitchen is well-equipped for preparing meals that the group can enjoy with the option of the adjoining dining area for mealtimes or guests can step outside to the seating area for alfresco entertaining when the weather allows. Spend your down time in the lounge, a restful room with feature fireplace and electric woodburning stove providing a homely feel, perfect for relaxing after day at the beach. When it comes to nighttime, there are four bedrooms in total; a double bedroom on the ground floor and three further bedrooms situated on the first floor. The spacious king size bedroom with en-suite shower room enjoys some views over Lyme Regis and the sea beyond. The second double bedroom and the twin room, both overlooking the garden, share the family bathroom where you can truly relax and indulge with the jacuzzi bath. Outside, the gardens wrap around the house with steps leading up to a large lawned area surrounded by pretty shrubs and planting, whilst to the side there is a gravelled seating area with table and chairs. With sandy beaches and popular visitor attractions, Lyme Regis has all the ingredients for a fun filled seaside holiday the whole family can enjoy. Take a walk along the seafront to the famous Cobb harbour where you can enjoy water sports activities, jump aboard a boat trip or learn about the area’s diverse marine life at the Lyme Regis Aquarium. An area renowned for fossil hunters, a visit to the Charmouth Heritage Centre offers a chance to see amazing fossil collections or join in one of the guided fossil walks on the beach. For avid walkers, the South West Coastal footpath offers breath-taking scenic walks and takes in landmarks such as Golden Cap, the highest point on the south coast, as well as Charmouth and Seatown, both popular seaside locations and great spots to stop off for a cold beverage on route. Other popular days out include The Donkey Sanctuary at Sidmouth which is open all year round or the picturesque fishing village of Beer, with its galleries, gift shops and eateries. However you plan to spend your days, Fawley will be your home-from-home for a memorable holiday exploring this stunning part of Jurassic coastline.
