Accommodating up to 8 guests, 6 Barnes Meadow offers all the amenities and is conveniently situated for those looking to enjoy this beautiful part of the Jurassic coast. From its elevated position, the property enjoys some wonderful views over the village, the church, and the Devon countryside beyond. With off-road parking for two cars, this dog-friendly house with enclosed rear garden is perfect for families and groups of friends alike. Arranged over three floors, the house is approached along a path which leads from a private car parking area. The lounge is comfortable and welcoming with two large sofas and a fireplace allowing you to sit in comfort watching the TV or sitting quietly with a book. Steps lead from the lounge to the open-plan kitchen and dining room with large French Doors leading to the garden and allow plenty of sunshine in. The cooking area is well-equipped, and the adjoining dining area and family room provide a social space for the family to sit and enjoy mealtimes together. When the weather allows, the rear garden, arranged over several levels provides a great spot for some alfresco dining or enjoying a refreshing glass of drink while you relax on the comfortable garden seating. The bedrooms are arranged over two floors. On the first floor, there is a king-size bedroom with an ensuite shower room, which enjoys views overlooking the village. Two further bedrooms, a double and a twin, are located on the first floor, along with a family bathroom and stairs leading to a further spacious double bedroom, on the second floor. When it comes to enjoying the area, the village of Uplyme is situated on the outskirts of Lyme Regis and has a popular village pub, sports and recreational facilities and village convenience store and post office. A walk along the picturesque River Lym footpath takes you into Lyme Regis with its family friendly beaches and famous Cobb Harbour where you can enjoy water sports, swimming or take one of the many boat trips which run from the harbour. Popular visitor attractions include the aquarium, Marine Theatre and town museums which showcase the area's diverse geology which has made it a popular destination for fossil hunters over the years. Further afield, The Donkey Sanctuary at Sidmouth, the pretty fishing village of Beer and the coastal town of Seaton, with its tramway and Wetlands Centre, are all great choices for a day out.
