Located in one of the most picturesque and favoured areas in Weymouth, a few paces from the front door is the old harbour where you can enjoy a lazy afternoon watching the flotilla of fishing boats and yachts come and go or watching the children try their hand at crabbing. In and around Brewers Quay there are numerous restaurants, coffee houses and pubs where you can enjoy a meal alfresco while bathing in the sun. The town centre with its usual high street shops and cinema is a leisurely stroll away, as is the award winning long and sandy main beach with its shallow bathing waters. Pretty Newton's Cove favoured by locals and children alike, the Nothe Fort and gardens with its coastal walk is nearby; a favourite with the locals and those seeking a quieter location. Walk along the Dorset Heritage Coast and fossil hunt at Chesil Beach, or enjoy the scenery at Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens and swannery. From here, head over to the seaside town of Lyme Regis where guests can explore the selection of independent shops, try out local produce, learn more about the Jurassic Coast at the local museum and even try out fossil hunting along the dramatic coastline.
