Haven Cottage is a charming two storey terraced house, resting within the Artists’ Town of Kirkcudbright and is perfectly located for exploring the breathtaking countryside and coastal scenery. Spend time in the welcoming sitting room beside the gas stove reading or watching a film on the Smart TV, while the adjoining contemporary kitchen/dining room offers the opportunity to cook, relax and chat in a semi open-plan sociable space. The kitchen has everything you need to cook up delicious dishes, ready to enjoy with your loved ones at the dining table for four over a celebratory bottle of fizz. The kitchen also provides access to a convenient bike storage porch and the rear garden. A raised seating area is accessible via a flight of steps offering an ideal spot to sit and relax. Upstairs are two tastefully decorated bedrooms and a stylish shower room with heated towel rail. The bedrooms can accommodate up to four guests one offering a king size bed and the other a double. Kirkcudbright is a busy and bustling harbour town with plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants, galleries and events taking place throughout the year. These include historic tours of the town, Scottish nights with dancing and pipe bands, an Arts and Crafts Trail, Food Festival, Car Rally and the Floodlit Tattoo. For the more energetic, there are some excellent walking and cycling routes on the doorstep and the town also has a swimming pool and golf course. Alternatively enjoy a day at the beach or explore The Galloway Hills and Forest Park, where you can spot the local wildlife and enjoy the superb views. Further afield you can visit the bustling town of Dumfries, home to the Dumfries Museum, Robert Burns House, the Robert Burns Centre, and the Michelin Star restaurant 1610.
